The R&D division of Ligature Biotechnologies is located in the outskirts of Bangalore. Breeding of high yielding, disease resistant, pest and drought tolerant hybrids in vegetables and field crops is the thrust area in research and development activities of the company. R & D wing also emphasize on developing quality planting material through micro propagation by adopting modern tissue culture techniques.

Ligature R & D stations are located in all ideal geographic locations of India. Multi-location trials are taken for all the hybrids at different agro-climatic zones in different seasons throughout India. The company has highly qualified scientists who are working towards achieving high quality products.
